Information used by the app
We store your Shopify shop identifier and domain, time zone, installation sessions, subscription status, restriction rules and settings. Shopify authentication can provide staff account information associated with a session. We read product identifiers, handles, titles, tags and collection membership to apply the rules you configure.
For country detection, our hosting provider receives the visitor’s IP address and determines its approximate country. The app checks the address against any merchant-configured allowed IP ranges in memory. It returns a short-lived signed country result and does not save visitor IP addresses, browsing histories or precise location in its application database. Allowed IP addresses entered by the merchant remain in store settings until removed.
The app does not request customer profiles, order histories, payment details, or access to customer accounts. It does not sell visitor data or use it for advertising.
Purpose and providers
We use this information to provide and support the app, authenticate staff, apply country rules, prevent misuse and verify plans billed through Shopify. Shopify processes installations and subscriptions. Vercel hosts the app and provides country detection; Neon stores application data. The database and application compute are configured in Frankfurt. Provider infrastructure, support and security processing can involve other locations, subject to their contractual safeguards.
The app may set a temporary session-storage timestamp to prevent redirect loops. It is not used for tracking or authentication. Infrastructure providers may maintain operational and security logs under their own retention policies.
Retention and deletion
Rules and settings are kept while the app is installed. Uninstalling disables processing and deletes stored Shopify sessions. Shopify’s shop-redaction webhook removes the remaining shop configuration and rules. You can also request erasure through our support address. Customer data-access and redaction webhooks are authenticated and acknowledged; there are no stored customer profiles or visitor histories to export or erase.
Your rights
Contact us to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection where applicable, or to ask about international transfers and safeguards. You may lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority. Merchants should explain their configured country restrictions in their own privacy notices.
Updates
We update this policy when processing changes. The date above identifies the current version. Questions can be sent to info@pixelarisgroup.com.
